Applied Research
Technology for
complex operating environments.
Thesis
We investigate machine autonomy, adversarial environments, and decision infrastructure where software must operate under uncertainty, incomplete information, and human authority.
Research areas
Autonomy
Bounded machine autonomy, persistent investigation, adaptive workflows, and operator-directed execution.
We investigate and build systems capable of independent work, with explicit human authority, scope, provenance, and intervention.
Adversarial environments
Technical environments where uncertainty, incentives, failure, and hostile behavior must be modeled explicitly.
Reasoning about software, distributed and economic systems, security boundaries, and interacting actors.
Decision infrastructure
Infrastructure connecting evidence, machine reasoning, human judgment, and operational action.
Traceability from what was observed, to what a machine inferred, to what a human decided, to the action that followed.
Selected research programs are not individually disclosed.
